Disaster Protection Insurance

DDOS attacks and server intrusions can potentially damage your business financially by racking up high bandwidth overage charges, server admin time, and OS reload fees.
When purchased, Disaster Protection Insurance allows you to recover from such attacks without incurring any OS Reload charges, bandwidth overages, or server administration charge.
Technicians will examine the server and secure the breach if possible, mitigate DDOS attacks, and/or recommend an OS reload if breach is severe.

POLICY INFORMATION
• Disaster Protection Insurance must be purchased in advance of any attacks in order to be eligible.
• ZipServer technicians must be able to access your server via root access to determine the nature of the attack or breach to determine if your server is covered by this policy.
• Normal bandwidth overages due to high server usage are not covered.
• Customer must make reasonable attempt to secure server prior to any breaches to help minimize intrusions and/or attacks (purchase of Server Hardening highly recommended). |
