My job is to get to know each and every one of you and find out what you NEED to run your business. Consolidation Project Underway

If you have multiple products with us, you are aware ZipServers in the midst of migrating from older billing and support systems towards a completely automated support, billing, and hosting management system. In an attempt to make the migration painless, we have been spending an extraordinary amount of time ensuring duoZ and Legacy Series dedicated servers can be seemlessly migrated and function within the automated system.

We expect to have a system up and running no later than July 31, 2009. At that time, we will migrate a handful of accounts each week. This will ensure all clients are handled in an appropriate manner and reduce errors. Our plan is to complete the migration process by September 30, 2009. At that time, the old billing system will be turned off as well as the ns1/ns2.zipsupport.com name servers which are being replaced by our automated system (ns1/ns2/ns3/ns4.ServerGenie.com). Programmers are now working on the integration modules and we expect to be testing these any day now.

Upgrades, support, name server updates, bandwidth, reboots, and even ZipReward points will all be included in the new system. This should provide customers with a more robust and easier to manage portal for all account needs.

Our goal is simple, reduce the multiple control panels and logins to just one control panel. We appreciate your patience and your business.

Redundant DNS Servers Added – Planned NameServer Migration Deadline

Engineers have added additional redundant name servers to our automated DNS systems. Two new remote locations were added in Seattle and Washington, D.C. to assist the two current Dallas locations. All shared, VPS, cloud, and dedicated customers are able to use the new system.

All 4 redundant Name Servers are built in to our new customer control panel and require no intervention from ZipServers support team. This saves you time and allows you the freedom to totally customize your DNS entries. However, if you are unsure of your settings, feel free to contact support.

If you are a current customer using our old name servers, you are encouraged to migrate today and enjoy total automation.
