Recently ZipServers engineers have added redundant name servers to our automated systems. Two new remote locations were added to assist the two current Dallas locations.

Name Servers were added to both Washington, D.C. and Seattle, WA. If you are not already using the ServerGenie.com name servers, you are encouraged to get started today.

PLANNED MIGRATION
In an effort to automate and improve our customer experience, we will be shutting down ns1.zipsupport.com and ns2.zipsupport.com on September 30, 2009. We encourage you to move to our new Name Servers at:

ns2.servergenie.com (74.86.106.194) (DALLAS)
ns3.servergenie.com (67.228.108.14) (SEATTLE)
ns4.servergenie.com (174.36.201.214) (WASHINGTON, D.C.)

To utilize the new nameservers, simply create an account at https://hspc01.zipservers.com. You will be able to add your own entries and much more through this control panel. No longer will you be required to open a ticket.

Once your account is created, please contact support so we can add your IP Addresses to our automated system. Once added, you can then begin creating DNS Zone files.
